Your right to privacy

Always be as specific as possible when you want to exercise your rights. This will allow us to correctly execute your request.
To prevent someone else from exercising your rights, we want to make every effort to check your identity. That is why the request must always be accompanied by a document proving that the applicant's identity matches yours. This can be done by including a copy of your identity card with the request. Our business contacts include our customers, prospects and suppliers. Degroote Trucks & Trailers processes the personal data of data subjects working for companies with which we conduct business. We do not retain your data indefinitely
Degroote Trucks & Trailers uses your personal data for a clear purpose. Once this purpose has been achieved, the data will be deleted.
The principle for keeping your personal data is the statutory retention period.
We initially retain the personal data of our prospects for a period of 3 years. If during this period there has been contact between the prospect and Degroote Trucks & Trailers, a new period of 3 years starts from this moment of contact.
We retain the personal data of our customers and suppliers for a maximum period of 7 years from the last invoice.
